A caleidoscopic view on her surroundings propelled Boon into the realm of video, performance, installation and sound art after finishing her training as a painter. Boons first video installation Nighttrain travelled around the world.

At the beginning of the millenium Boon produced sound attacks in the public realm with The Reincarnations, a 3 - women group founded by her. From 2004 onwards, Boons main focus consists of making short films and one - channel videos, for which she is able to integrate all the above mentioned.
